Frequently asked questions
How does billing work?
Annual only. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each 12-month period unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal. We don't lock you in — you can export your data and delete your account at any time.
What if I exceed my QR Label quota mid-year?
QR Labels are a concurrent count, not a yearly total. If you delete a box or item, that QR Label returns to your pool. If you genuinely need more codes, upgrade to a higher tier — the difference is pro-rated against your existing subscription.
Can I downgrade?
Only if you're under the lower tier's caps. If you have 50 QR Labels in use and try to downgrade to Personal (15), you'll need to release codes first. We'd rather refuse the downgrade than silently break your data.
Is my data really encrypted?
Yes — serial numbers and purchase prices are encrypted at rest using XSalsa20-Poly1305 with a per-user key wrapped under our master key. A database breach without our application server access yields ciphertexts.
Free trial?
Sign up and you get the trial tier — 15 QR Labels, 3 photos per item, marketplace listing. Same caps as Personal, just without billing. Convert when you're ready.
B2B / Enterprise?
Multi-user accounts, white-labelling, SSO, bulk QR allocation, and partner integrations are coming. Get in touch if you'd like to be a launch partner.
